Fairyloot Unboxing: December 2018

12 January 2019

Unboxing #3
I'm so excited to be sharing with you what I received from Fairyloot in December! I was incredibly keen to recieve this box back in December purely because the theme was a theme I was excited to get my hands on. If you didn't know, Fairyloot's theme for December was Dragons, yep you heard that correctly... DRAGONS! I adore Dragons, the nice & the bad, I just find them fascinating so you can imagine how ecstatic I was when Fairyloot announced it.

Can we first just admire the art for this months theme, how fabulous does that girl look riding her dragon! Oh what, I would do to have a pet dragon! I especially love the little bookmark, but I love all the book marks (if I'm going to be completely honest).

Glow in the Dark Dragon Necklace & Pin Flag
Well firstly, how gorgeous is this necklace. It's absolutley stunning and I love that it glows in the dark too. It's a little big for me to wear but I have displayed it on my shelf and I love how it looks sat by my books that have dragons in them. I was also thrilled to see that they included a pin flag as I have been wanting one for quite some time now to display some of my favourite pins. I think I'm going to dedicate my Harry Potter pins to this pin flag however, as I only have a few and I think they would look really sweet pinned on the flag, hanging next to my Harry Potter shelves.

Reading Journal January - June 2019
How gorgeous is this reading journal?! I have my own reading journal where I track my progress of reading throughout the months but I do love this little journal. It was designed by Fictiontea Designs and it also features artwork (which is stunning!) by Blanca Montiel. I'm obsessed with the artwork throughout the book! I may try and use this as well as my reading tracker journal too!

Double-Sided Print by Diana Worak
When I saw these prints in my box I was so excited as they are both incredibly stunning! My favourite print has to be toothless however I can admire how stunning Abraxos and Mannon look. However, I haven't finished the Throne of Glass series and so I don't feel a massive connection as much as I do towards Toothless. I do love both but I'm going to have to have Toothless on show when putting the print on my wall!

'Storm Crows' (ARC) by Kalyn Josephson & Harry Potter Book Sleeve by Sweet Sequels
I was ecstatic when I realised we would be getting an ARC in December's box! I have never received a physical copy of an ARC and so I was very excited. The ARC we received was 'The Storm Crow' which I'm very eager to read. Its about a Princess who's Kingdom relies on magical Crows gets invaded by another empire and their magic is destroyed. Princess Thia is depressed ever since, until she is to be married to the invading empires Prince. This triggers her to do something. Her and her sister plan on hatching a crow egg that they discovered in a ruin and plan to take back their kingdom. This book honestly sound's amazing and I love the element that crows have on this story! I probably won't read it until later this year as they book doesn't officially come out until July and I don't want to be waiting for ages for the sequel if I fall in love with this book.

We also received a book sleeve which again I was so happy and excited about. I have never had a book sleeve but I have always wanted one. The design on the sleeve is just stunning and I love that it's Harry Potter themed. Its the perfect size for an average sized book so I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this gorgeous sleeve.

A Court of Thorns & Roses themed Tarot Cards
I adore these tarot cards and I wish we could have a whole set of them! The artwork on them are stunning and I love that it's Cassian and Amren. I honestly have so much love for this series so I was very pleased when I saw these two cards in the box. I really hope we get some more in the future!

'Fire & Heist' by Sarah Beth Durst
Finally the book for December's box! Firstly can we take a minute to admire the artwork for this boxes letter from the author and can we admire the cover of this book!? Both stunning. I'm so excited to read this book as it sounds so interesting. It's about a girl who can turn into a dragon! Yep you heard that correctly, a dragon!!! I mean I don't even need to know the rest as I will definitely be reading this! But if you'd like to know, it about a wyvern, and for them to be classed as an adult they have to successfully hold a heist and so we follow Sky on her journey! This sounds awesome so I really do hope I enjoy it as much as I think I will!

So far, I definitely think this is my favourite box of the boxes I have gotten so far. I just love dragons and I loved every item in this box! Next month is Unbreakable Bonds and none of the items are made out of paper!? I can't wait to receive it!

Until next time,
Tabs xx

    1. They are really worth the money but yeah sometimes you can't guarantee that you're gonna love the theme which is annoying!

  2. I really really want a Fairyloot subscription now, you received so many wonderful things! Not going to lie, I would've been over the moon to receive the A Court of Thorns and Roses tarot cards, I'd definitely put them on display on my pinboard! I rewatched How to Train Your Dragon over Christmas and fell in love with it again so the double sided print is a winner in my book too!
