Another One of Those Unexpected Book Hauls

28 February 2016

Hey Book Lovers,

  Firstly, I apologise of the lack of posts over the past 2 weeks but I'll be honest I have been incredible busy with course assignments and work! Which is a pain because I've really struggled to get my reading done this month as well as blogging as you can already tell! But HEY, I'm here now and I haul post to share with you all (an unexpected haul I should say).
  Yesterday (27th Feb), I met up with one of my friends and we went for a spontaneous trip to the book store in town and surprise, surprise I ended up buying some books... Although, I could argue that at least one of them is educational. Here's what I ended up buying;

From Left to Right: Book 1Book 2Book 3Book 4

My friend and I went to two book stores yesterday and I picked up two books in each store! Firstly, I bought Half Bad (by Sally Green) and City of Bones (by Cassandra Clare) from Waterstones and I'm really looking forward to start both of them. I'll be honest, I have read City of Bones but I only made it to the 3rd book and then I gave up *shame on me*, but recently I've been watching Emma's (over on emmmabooks) youtube videos and she's convinced me to try and read them again. I have NO idea where my City of Bones book is, so I thought I'd treat myself by buying the new covered book (as I think they are beautiful) and it's made me incredibly excited to start the series again - hopefully I won't give up this time!
  After we visited Waterstones we went to a shop called The Works, it sells arts and craft stuff there but they also do AMAZING book deals, for instance, I bought BBC's Life Story photography book and it used to be £25 but it was reduced to £4! Let me repeat that... £4! So it was stupid not to pick the book up (especially when I study animals at college). I then picked up Our Zoo (by June Mottershead), which is the story behind the making of Chester Zoo and I thought I'd get this book because I may be moving to Chester later this year for University. Another book I'm excited to read.
I hope you enjoyed this little update, again I apologise for the lack of posts over the last 2 weeks but I plan to write a few posts over the week, so keep an eye out for new posts!

P.s. My friend Ellie has just created her first goodreads account, so please feel free to add/follow her, she would love the company!

Love you all,
  Tabitha x

  1. I just reread City of Bones and it's absotulely genious! Great haul, hope you'll enjoy all of these books.

    1. I can't wait to give it another go! Don't you just love the new covers?! Thank you!! :)

    2. Yes I really do! It's too bad that I've already got all of them and not a good enough pay check to just buy them again :/
