I love watching films and TV series so I thought it would be fun to start 'Movie Madness' over here on my blog, where I'm going to share with you what films/TV series I have recently watched and my views on them! I have reviewed a few films before but I thought it would be more fun doing these types of round up posts - like I do when I have finished a couple of books. I hope you enjoy this layout and I have categorised whether I saw the film/TV series in the cinema, online or on TV!
Toy Story 4
When a new toy called "Forky" joins Woody and the gang, a road trip alongside old and new friends reveals how big the world can be for a toy.
Viewed: at the cinema (cineworld - member)
I feel like when it comes to this film, there is definitely a split between the people who liked it and who didn't like it. I unfortunately fall into the 'didn't like it category'. When I say I didn't like it, there were aspects that I enjoyed! I loved seeing the old characters again - especially Jessie and Buzz as they are my favourites! - and I also loved the humor in it! The animation was also brilliant, you can definitely see how far Pixar have come with their animation technology.

Unfortunately, I just wasn't a fan of the story... it felt like it should have been called 'Woody's Story' and not 'Toy Story'. I'll be honest, Woody isn't even my favourite character so I got pretty bored pretty quickly. I also found it horrendously predictable and I know it's a kids film but still... it was so predictable! I did enjoy meeting the new characters but again, I just didn't see the point of them? and that includes Forky... I would have much rather seen more from our old characters, such as Buzz. I feel like I have ranted too much about this film... I love the Toy Story films, it's just a shame that this one didn't hit the mark for me and I generally believe they should have left it at 3 as the send off was far better.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
Five years after the events of Mamma Mia! (2008), Sophie prepares for the grand reopening of the Hotel Bella Donna as she learns more about her mother's past.
Viewed: on Sky Cinema
When this film came out in the cinema back in summer 2018, I never got round to seeing it! Which I was gutted about because I love 'Mamma Mia!' So cheesy and full of great tunes to sing a long too. When I saw that 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again' was going to be on, I just knew I had to watch it. I sat down with my sister, with a bag a popcorn and fully immersed myself into the film. When I first started watching it I was surprised to see that Meryl Streep wasn't going to be in it! I honestly had no idea so was left pretty shocked but I was very pleased with how Lily James played young Donna. You could really see that she looked at how Meryl played Donna and pulled that into her acting.

I loved the music they put into this film too as I was worried they what songs they would include seeing as so many of the iconic ABBA songs are used in the original film but I was pleasantly surprised. I found the story line really interesting and it was fun to see all the oldies, young! and see how their story line played out! I did enjoy this film, not as much as the original but I think for a sequel it did fairly well! It's made me want to see the musical now!

Stranger Things: S3
Summer brings new jobs and budding romance. But the mood shifts when  Dustin's radio picks up a Russian broadcast, and Will senses something is wrong.
Viewed: on Netflix UK (online)
I don't know how I can put into words how much I love Stranger Things. I have been a fan ever since it was this small little series that no one knew about a few years ago! I just fell in love with it as soon as I started it. This season is no different. I may even argue that this season is the best yet! I am a big 80s fan - constantly questioning why I wasn't born in the 80s - and so I adored the neon lights, the music and the fashion that was in this season! I just loved it!

However, when going into the season, I was worried where they were going to take it but I was so thrilled by the end of the season as the story line was great and it kept me hooked throughout the 8 episodes. I love the dynamic of the different friendship groups throughout the season. It was lovely to see Max and El grow closer and I LOVED seeing Dustin and Steve back together and see them band together with Robin and Erica! Honestly, I just loved all of the characters in this season! They all brought something to the table and they all made me feel many different emotions throughout the season - I cried non-stop for the last 20 minutes of the last episode. I don't know what I am going to do whilst waiting for the final season! It's definitely going to be a big one!

Secret Obsession
When Jennifer wakes up with amnesia after a traumatic attack, her doting husband cares for her. But she soon realises the danger is far from over.
Viewed: on Netflix UK (online)
How I wish I didn't see the trailer for this film before watching it! To be honest, the only real reason I wanted to watch this film was because Brenda Song - past Disney Channel star - was starring in it. I didn't have massive high hopes going into the film as I find Netflix films can really be hit or miss but I just fancied watching a thriller film one evening so popped this on. However, like I said the trailer really did ruin this for me. It was so incredibly predictable and hardly thrilling at all as you just knew what was going to happen!

I can't even say the acting saved this film for me because it was really pants. Some of the characters decisions were just plain stupid and I just couldn't get on board with the story. It's a real shame because this film idea had such promise but it was ruined with how predictable it was. Brenda was fairly strong in her acting up until the end *spoiler alert* when her character is getting pinned to the bed and Russel ties her foot to the bed railing she just comes across a little pathetic? and she doesn't seem to make much effort to escape him... yet only 5 minutes later she's able to put all her energy towards pulling her (healing ankle) out of the restraint... I'm sorry if that sounds mean, but I just didn't think the acting was very convincing. This film left me feeling flat and not thrilled at all. I personally wouldn't recommend watching this if you looking for a thrilling thriller.
I did not mean to end my first Movie Madness post on such a damper of a review! My apologies! But I guess you can't help with how you feel. Anyway, I did watch Stranger Things and damn, I loved that, so it wasn't all negative. I really hope you enjoyed this set up! I'm definitely going to try and upload this post more regularly when I have recently watched any new films or series! I'm desperate to go and see the new Quetin Tarantino film, so I am sure I'll write a review on that soon!

Have you seen any of the films/TV series I mentioned in this post? or are they films/TV series you plan to watch soon? Let me know in the comments below!

It's that time of the month where I share with you what I read over the last month! I didn't get loads of reading done but I am still happy due to not reading a lot during May and June. I managed to finish two books and I had almost finished my third and I thouroughly enjoyed all of them! I'm so happy to finally have my reading mojo back, so lets get to what books I read in July...
'If You Could Go Anywhere' - Paige Toon ♥♥♥♥♥/5
Angie has always wanted to travel. But at 29, she still has still never left her small mining town in Australian outback. When her grandmother passes away, Angie finally feels free to see the world - until she discovers a letter addressed to the father she never knew and it forced to question everything. As angie sets off on her journey to find the truth - about her family, her past and who she really is - will enigmatic stranger Alessandro help guid the way?
I absolutely love Paige Toon as an author. In fact, she is the author that contributed getting back onto the reading scene again many moons ago! Though I haven't read all of her books - though I am slowly trying too! - the ones I have read I absolutely love and this book is no different. I fell in love with the story almost as soon as I opened it! Something I loved was learning about Coober Pedy! I hadn't even heard of it until I picked this book up and now I know it's going to be a destination I want to visit when Matt and I travel there eventually! I also really enjoyed following the story of Angie and discovering her other family from across the globe. The brewing romance between Angie and a certain someone was also great. I am a big fan of slow brewing romances as it keeps me on my toes and I just find the whole experince really exciting. Overall I really enjoyed this book and I also think Paige did wonderfully approaching the subjects of demntia and depression.

'I Heart New York' - Lindsey Kelk ♥♥♥♥.5/5
Fleeing her cheating boyfriend and clutching little more than a crumpled bridemaid dress, a pair of Louboutines and her passport, Angela jumps on a plane, destination - NYC. Holded up in a cute hotel room, Angela gets a New York makeover from her NBFJenny and a whirlwind tour of the city that never sleeps. Before she knows it, Angela is dating two sexy guys. And, best of all, she gets to write about it in her new blog. But it's one thing telling readers about your romantic dilemmas, it's another figuring them out for yourself...

I mentioned 'I Heart New York' in my Summer Reading List as it was a book/series I wanted to pick up and start! I am so glad I have finally started this book series as the first book was so good! I was hooked from the first page wanting to know what Angela was going to do next! It was so lovely reading a story with such a strong and empowering character. I was a little worried when I knew there was going to be a love triangle involved but Lindsey executed it really well. I didn't think Angela was being too indecisive - some characters can be so annoying with their indecisivness but Angela was thankfully not! I really loved the other characters too! Especially Jenny and Alex - heart throb alert! This book has made me want to jump on a plane to New York as it just sounds amazing and I know I'll love it. I couldn't not pick up the next book after finishing this one as like I said, I was hooked!
There are a few books I would like to get to this month and they are mainly contemporary! I swear, when the warmer months arrive my romance/contemporary intake increases so much!

I Heart Hollywood by Lindsey Kelk - This was the book I almost finished last month but didn't. I looved the first book so much that I just had to pick up the second instantly. So far I am really enjoying this book and I can't wait to see where Angela's Hollywood adventure takes her!

Lucy in the Sky by Paige Toon - I really enjoyed 'If You Could Go Anywhere' so now I really want to read all of Paige Toon's books but I want to do it in publication order as all her stories link slightly!

The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell - I have heard so many great reviews about this book! It sounds like it's right up my street and seeing as I have been reading a lot of contemporary romance novels it will be nice to get to a mythical/fantasy book this month!

One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid  - This book sounds really interesting! I would say it sounds like a tragic love story and who doesn't love a bit of drama?! I mentioned this book on my Summer Reading List and so I really hope I get to it this month.

There you have my latest reading roundup and this months TBR. I really hope to read at least half of these books I have mentioned. My goal is to read all four but if I manange just two or three I'll be chuffed. Have you read any of the books I have mentioned? What did you think of them? or do you plan on reading any of these books too?

I bloomin' love musicals! Going to London and watching a musical is one of my favourite things to do and so I was very excited when I bought last minute tickets to go and see 9 to 5 last Friday. I bought Matt and I's tickets on an app called Today Tix - which is my favourite app to book musical/play tickets from - and recently they have been offering Rush Ticket sales. If you don't know what a Rush Ticket is, these are the tickets the theatre release on the day of the show at 10am for a cheaper price and normally these tickets are front row or stall tickets! Our tickets ended up being £25 each and we were sat second row of the stalls, so super close to the stage.
9 to 5 The Musical is a Dolly Parton Jukebox musical, so you can expect lot's of Dolly's classics as well as her not so known music throughout the show. If you don't know what 9 to 5 is about, it follows three women working in a office run by a sexist and egotistical boss who pushes them to far...
Picture sourced from The Standard.
From Left to Right: Caroline Sheen (top), Amber Davies (top), Natalie McQueen (top), Brian Conley (bottom), Bonnie Langford (bottom)
One of the reasons I wanted to see this musical is due to Natalie McQueen starring in it. She plays the role of Doralee and her performance didn't dissapoint! It was amazing to see her play such a different role to what I have seen her play before (Lauren from Kinky Boots) and she did a superb job. Doralee is the character that Dolly played in the film and you can really see how Natalie took inspiration from how Dolly played the character but she also added her own spin to it too. Making it her own Doralee. Her voice never dissapoints me either. She sang beautifully and I loved how she added the country girl twang, again very different to her last role. I always enjoy watching Natalie on stage and I can't wait to see what her next show will be.

Caroline Sheen played Violet and again I was really blown away with her performance. Her voice was spectacular and she played the role brilliantly, bringing a lot of humour to the character which I really enjoyed. I haven't ever seen Caroline perform before but she was superb and I hope to see her in other future performances.

I was also really excited to see Amber Davies, performing as the sweet and shy Judy. You may know Amber from being 2017's Love Island winner but before that, she always wanted to be a performer. This is her first West End show, making it her debut and honestly, I was blown away from her performance. I didn't know what to expect but she was great. Her voice gave me chills and nearly made me cry when she was singing 'Get Out and Stay Out'. I loved how she played Judy, really innocent and funny! I really do wish her all the best when it comes to her West End career, as she is such a talented actress.
Brian Conley also stars in this show, playing Franklin Hart Jr, the sleezy, sexist boss! Brian was so funny! I have seen him on TV but wow, he really was made for the stage! He was a character you wanted to hate but he was just so funny that you couldn't not look forward to seeing him on the stage, especially when it comes to Act 2! If you've seen the musical you'll know what I mean!

Finally, another famous face, Bonnie Langford. Other than seeing her on Eastenders, I haven't seen much of her work but just like Brian, she was so incredibly funny! There is a scene where she just surprises you and surprises you and it is great! Probably the funniest moment of the show, as well as a few others but still, it was really funny! She also has a brilliant and strong voice. Bonnie played the role of Roz.

I really did enjoy this musical. The music was upbeat and fun and I thouroughly enjoyed watching all the dance routines as they were all so good and skillful! I have to mention the ensembloe as it would wrong not too! The ensemble was brilliant too, they were upbeat and incredibly talented! It was lovely to see Sean Needham again (another cast member from Kinky Boots) and it was lovely to see so many more talented people that I haven't seen perform before.

I think out of all the songs, my favourite has to be other 'Backwards Barbie' sang by Doralee/Natalie McQueen or 'Get Out and Stay Out' sand by Judy/Amber Davies. They were both sang beautifully and brought tears to my eyes. I also really loved the costuming and the set design. It really fitted into the era this musical is set, the 80s. Lots of bright colours and big hair too!
Overall, I really did enjoy this musical. I don't think it is one of my favourites of all time but I would definitely see it again and I would also love to be in this show too! - if you don't know, I am part of a Amatuer Dramatics group, so I always think about what show's I'd love to perform in. If you haven't seen this show yet, then definitely get down there when you can, especially if you want to see all the actors I have mentioned above! I also recommend using Today Tix to get your tickets as I couldn't recommend them enough! Have you seen 9 to 5? or do you plan on seeing it soon?

I do apologise this post didn't come yesterday! The time just ran away from me this weekend and I didn't want to upload an 'almost finished' blog post!
I swear most of my day is spent day dreaming about the glorious food you can find at Disney World, whether that's the snacks or the meals, it's all just so yummy! I have had a few people ask me what my favourite Disney World resturants/quick-service/snacks are, so I thought it would be fun to share them here on my blog! Today I'm going to discuss my top 5 quick-service resturants, I hope you enjoy.

Satu'li Canteen - Location: Pandora, Animal Kingdom
This resturant is SO good! Matt and I absolouetly love it. Though there is only really two types of dishes (the burger pods and the salad/protien bowl), there are so many different options you can pick. I have tried both of the dishes and they are so yummy and what I also love is that you can make it pretty healthy too when having the salad/protein bowl! Great when you don't fancy a lot of grease. I also really enjoy the special drink they offer, it's really refreshing and you get a slice of pineapple with it - yum! The themeing is also really cool as you are in Pandora, so it's a mixture of construction and naturual!
You can use 1 Quick Service Dining Plan Credit which would get you a main and any drink on their menu.

Caseys Corner - Location: Main Street USA, Magic Kingdom
How could I not mention Caseys on this list?! It is such an iconic quick service on Main Street. I absolutely love this resturant, it's just so god damn good! I have to have at least one or two meals from here whilst visiting Walt Disney World and I always have the same meal! A mac & cheese hot dog, sprinkled with bacan and a mint dulip on the side - yum! Just thinking about that order is making my mouth water! Definitely recommend if you love a classic hot dog!
You can use 1 Quick Service Dining Plan Credit which would get you a main and any drink on their menu.

Lotus Blossom Cafe - Location: China (World Show Case), Epcot
I love this little quick service and without fail, Matt and I will eat here when at Epcot! We just love the orange chicken dish so much and the portion size is pretty big too so you can definitely share a dish if you were considering that! I'm a big fan of Chinese so you can understand why I love this quick service! I also love the tea's they offer here. At the moment the tea they off is the iced peach oolong tea, which is really refreshing! However my favourite tea they used to offer (you can still pick it up from Love of Tea which is a tea stool in the China pavilion) was the milk cap lychee tea! It is so good! Definetely visit here if you are a fan of Chienese!
You can use 1 Quick Service Dining Plan Credit which would get you a main and any drink on their menu.

Blaze Pizza - Location: Disney Springs
If you want good pizza then you need to visit Blaze! This pizza is so good! It's basically set up like a subway, where you get to choose your base and toppings. You can be as creative as you want or go simple! They also have their own pizza menu, so if you are not feeling very creative you can try one of their creations. Honestly, the pizza tastes so good! Especially because they cook their pizza in a stone oven which just makes pizza taste so much better! Definitely hit this returant up if you love pizza, but be prepared to queue as it's real popular!
You can use 1 Quick Service Dining Plan Credit which would get you a main and any drink on their menu.

Be Our Guest - Location: Fantasy Land, Magic Kingdom
If you are familiar with this resturant then you will know that it falls into two categories; quick servce and sit down. However, Matt and I adore this resturant and have a little tradition with it too. We always visit on our first morning at Disney as it really is so magical with the themeing and the food is real good too! We think its the perfect way to start our holiday and it gets us early into the parks, which is always a plus. Just so you know, you still have to book a reservation to this resturant but it still counts as a quick service (for breakfast and lunch).
You can use 1 Quick Service Dining Plan Credit which would get you a main and any drink on their menu.

There are so many other quick-service resturants that I adore and couldn't not mention so here is a list of the resturants I also adore but just couldn't fit them on the original top 5 list...

★ Woodys Lunch Box - Location: Toy Story Land, Hollywood Studios
★ ABC Commissary - Location: Hollywood Studios
★ Delux Burger - Location: Disney Springs
★ Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe - Location: Tomorrowland, Magic Kingdom

I hope you enjoyed this blog post! I am now very hungry and wish I was in WDW right now so I could eat all the wonderous food. I would love to know what quick-service resturants are on your top 5 list? or which ones would you love to visit?

★ Tabitha ★
I really am so happy to be back blogging! It's been so fun planning new blog posts and writing them up. I really do hope you enjoy my content! Today I thought I would share with you what's on my Summer Reading List! I haven't read much over the last month or two due to university stress and going a fully packed holiday! I just haven't had time to read! However, now that I am now a commuter again (commuting into London to work) I have been reading in the morning and evening and I have just loved it. I just love losing myself to a book!

The aim is to try and read at least 5 of the books on my list by September (or the end of September), which I know is ambitous but I have a fair amount of time on my hands, I may just do it! I haven't added the synopsis' as otherwise this post would be SO long but I had added their Goodreads links, where you will find the synopsis for each of the books.
'I Heart New York' - Lindsey Kelk
About a month or two ago I went to my very first book talk and book signing (which I really enjoyed) and Lindsey Kelk was one of the authors there. She was talkingt about her latest book 'I Heart Hawaii' and now all I want to do is start this series! I have heard great things and it sounds perfect for this summer.

'The School For Good and Evil' - Soman Chainani
This is a book series I have wanted to read ever since I discovered it which was a while ago! I finally bought the book a month or two ago so I'm determined to start this series soon and what better time than during the summer! I really love the concept of this book and it just sounds really interesting! I can't wait to become fully emersed in these new schools and the secrets they hold!

'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince' - J.K. Rowling
I have slowly been making my way through the Harry Potter books and absolutely falling in love with the story again! I have already started this book but I tend to read it when driving as I have them audio so I haven't gotten that far into it yet! However, I would love to finish this book over the summer so then I can read the last and final book in the autumn/winter.

'Chasing Daisy' - Paige Toon
Paige Toon is one of my favourite authors! I love so many of her books and I loved her most recent book 'If You Could Go Anywhere'. Becuase I loved it so much it has gotten me in the mood to read my most favourite book of hers, which is, 'Chasing Daisy'. Honestly I'm so excited to get to this book as it's just SO good!
'The Unexpected Everything' - Morgan Matson
As it's summer, I'm really in the mood for romance novels. I tend to read a lot of romcom books during the warmer months. A few summers ago, I read 'Since You've Been Gone' by Morgan and I really enjoyed it and I have been meaning to read more of her books! I have heard great things about this one so I really hope I get to it this summer.

'City of Bones' - Cassandra Clare
I don't know how many times I have started this bloomin' series but I really want to give it another go. I did really enjoy this book (and the two after) but I have left it so long to pick up the fourth book that I can't remember what happened at all! I'm thinking this summer will be a great opportunity to try it again!

'Throne of Glass' - Sarah J. Maas
Another series I want to try again! I loved 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' Series by Sarah and it's definitely become a favourite of mine but for some reason I just haven't been able to get through the Throne of Glass books! I really want to give this series ago again.

'One True Loves' - Taylor Jenkins Reid
I'm really intrigued by the premise of this story. It just seems so tragic but real interesting! I don't know what I would do if Matt went missing on a helicopter - touvh wood that will never happen - I really hope I get to this book over the summer!

'I Hold Your Heart' - Karen Gregory
This is a new book on the scene and the story seems again, really interesting! I really do love books with controversy relationships and that can go pretty dark and this book sounds just that! I have also seen a lot of good reviews which just makes me want to read this book even more.
I'm really hoping I can get to all of these books over the summer but I just know myself and I doubt that'll happen. Either way, I am so excited to get to these books as they all sound really interesting! Over the next few month I will defintely update you all on Twitter (@latenightlatte_)/Goodreads/Instagram (@pocoloco_tabitha) on what books I have read from this list! Have you read any of these books?

 ★ Tabitha ★
Wow, it has been a while since I have sat down and wrote a blog post. I really have missed this. Relaxing with a coffee in my hand and writing down my thoughts and sharing them with you! My plan is to get this blog back up and running as I really want to push my blog further and build up the audience that I have lost from not being as active over the last three years of university. I’m angry at myself for pushing my blog to the side but I am determined to be more on track and become a regular blogger again!

If you follow me on my Instagram (@pocoloco_tabitha) then you would have seen that I went to Disney World recently – been home for two weeks and it sucks! – and so I thought it would be fun to share with you what I purchased from Florida/Disney World! I love seeing what others buy on their holiday, so I hope you enjoy my post too – prewarning, I think it's going to be a long one!

Mickey & Minnie WDW T-Shirt
I wasn’t planning on picking this t-shirt up but when Matt was looking for a t-shirt of his own, he asked if I wanted to get one too. There are so many amazing t-shirts at Disney but when I found this one, I just knew I had to have it! I love the vintage vibe it gives.

Villains After Hours Spirit Jersey
Whilst visiting Disney, Matt and I attended the Villains After Hours Event, which was real fun, and I knew I wanted to pick something up from the event. There was a t-shirt I was eyeing up but, on our evening, they released spirit jerseys! I honestly love this jersey. I like that it’s black and I especially love the design!

Flower & Garden Spirit Jersey
Now if you are a Disney nut, like me, and follow the Disney Parks and their events, then you will know, that we did not visit during the Flower & Garden Festival. However, this Jersey was reduced from $65.99 to $14.99! I just couldn’t not pick it up! It is huge on me but I kind of like that and I wear it like a night dress or something to slouch in during the day!

Uniqlo T-Shirts (Mickey & Star Wars)
If you’ve been to Disney World/Disney Springs and you haven’t visited Uniqlo there, then you are crazy. Disney Springs Uniqlo have some of the best t-shirts and I just have to visit when at Disney! I picked up a cute Mickey T-Shirt and the most adorable Ewok t-shirt! I love wearing these over-sized with shorts!

Chip & Dale Mug
I have a serious mug obsession. It really is becoming a problem. When I go on any trip, I try to pick up a mug as I just love them so much! This time I decided on the sweetest Chip and Dale mug! Honestly, I love it and it’s the perfect size! I need to start displaying my mugs because I have run out of room in our kitchen cupboard! Which is a real problem!

Toy Story 4 Dooney & Bourke Purse
Another purchase I didn’t intend but then again, I had no idea Dooney & Bourke would be releasing a new Toy Story design! They released it on the release date for the new film and when I saw the design, I just fell in love with it. Honestly this purse is such lovely quality and I am so impressed with it!

★ Jasmine & Venelope Phone Case
I absolutely love the phone cases at WDW! They are all so stunning and there are so many designs! I also love how robust they are so I knew I wanted to get one on this trip, especially because I had recently got a new phone! When I saw this case, I just knew it was for me! I LOVE Jasmine - she is by far my favourite princess - and I'm also a pick Wreck it Ralph fan, so I am so happy to have this case!

 ★ Sweets
As Matt and I were on the quick service dinning plan, we ended up having a lot of QS left to use! So, we decided to pick up a lot of sweets! We have Goofy’s candy coming out of our ears but at least that will keep us stocked up until our next trip!

I bought so many pins. I always do! Instead of explaining all of them – as that could take ages – I thought I would just list them and show them! I will be uploading pin pictures on my Instagram, explaining why I got them on there! So if you are interested, go give me a follow on Instagram (@pocoloco_tabitha).

pins featured: Walt Disney World & Mickey, Jasmine, Toy Story Haunted Mansion, Minnie 'Totally Trekking', Aladdin 'Diamond in the Rough, Aladdin & others, Aladdin & Jasmine, Splash Mountain, Chip & Dale (spring), Chip & Dale share peanut, Mad Hatter & March Hare Tea Cup (AP exclusive), Various Disney Hugs, Various Best Friends, Aulani & Traded.

 ★ Michael Kors Handbag
Whenever we visit Florida, I always end up picking up a bag from the Michael Kors outlet! The deals are just too good not to! This time I picked up a shoulder bad that can also be worn like a tote too. I love it! It’s perfect for my commute to work, being able to hide my valuables in the centre where the zip is and then the side pockets are great to store books and other little bits! !00% recommend visiting the Michael Kors Outlet when visiting Florida.

Disney Lip Smackers
I love my lip balms, I just hate having chapped lips! When I saw Emily Nels mention the new Toy Story Lip Smackers on her Instagram (@emilynels7) whilst I was away, I knew I needed to get a few for myself to take home with me as you can’t get these lip balms in the UK. I found Woody, Buzz and Lotso and I love them! They smell divine and make my lips feel super soft!

MAC Aladdin Lipstick & Lip Gloss
I had been eyeing up the Aladdin collection by MAC ever since it was released. However, I found it really hard to get my hands on it on the lead up to our trip so when I saw the display in Disney Springs, I ran over and grabbed the two items I wanted most! I opted for the ‘Rajah’ Lipstick and the ‘Jewels on Jewels’ Lip gloss and they are both so lovely! I wore them almost every day whilst I was at Disney.

Finally, the biggest purchase Matt and I made. The Walt Disney World Annual Passes! I still can’t quite believe I am an annual pass holder to my most favourite place! I now can’t wait to get back out their and use it again. The discounts connected to your card are brilliant too, up to 20% off Disney parks merchandise!
As you can see from us having annual passes, it means we will be going back again. We are hoping to head back around January! Which means there will definitely be more hauls soon! I hope you really enjoyed this one, however. What is your favourite item that I picked up?! Let me know in the comments below.

I have another movie review for you all today! Something I find myself doing quite regularly is continuously watching true crime videos on youtube (on that note, a youtuber I would highly recommend if you love watching true crime videos too is Kendall Rae). When I found out that Zac Effron would be staring in a movie all about Ted Bundy, I just knew I had to watch it. I found the Netflix series about Ted Bundy really intriguing so I couldn't wait to see what the film would be like.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile is a true story and follows the story of Ted Bundy, an american serial killer. It also follows the views of Elizabeth Kloepfer and her struggles with coming to terms of dating a serial killer. It's hard to completely explain without telling you the whole story.

Something that I appreciated about this film is how quick paced it was. It made the experience really engaging and it made me want to keep on watching. Along side this, it was very to the point which I also appreciated. Some films can take ages to get to the point, unnecessarily dragging it out but this one was great because of how to the point it was. Not wasting it's time on pointless scenes. If you're worried about this film being really info dumpy then you need not worry.

Obviously I couldn't not write this review without mentioning the brilliant acting that Zac Effron and Lily Collins performed in the film. Zac Effron as Ted Bundy, was actually uncanny. He really became the character. There was a lot of worry that by casting Effron as Bundy, they would be 'romantising' Bundy but I couldn't have disagreed more. The interesting thing about Bundy is that no one expected him to be a killer, due to his looks and charisma, so by hiring Effron for this job seemed like a perfect decision and Effron did not disappoint in the acting side of things.

Lily Collins also did a fantastic job and she really pulled on my emotions. I can't imagine how it must have felt, finding out that the man  you love was actually a serial killer and Collins really showed the emotions that Elizabeth was probably feeling throughout the Bundy trial incredibly well. Some scenes I found difficult to watch as you could really see the pain in Collins/Elizabeth's eyes.

Finally, I absolutely loved the attention to detail. If you have watched the Netflix documentary on Ted Bundy, they showed televised clips of Ted Bundy, throughout the case. In Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, some of the scenes were identical to these clips. Identical down to the what they wore, what they said and where they said it. It was beautifully done. It gave the film a more immersive feel, especially if you were familiar with the original clips.

I adored Lily's acting and before I went into this film, I had the assumption that this film was going to be followings Lily's character (Elizabeth) and look more into her perspective of the situation. Though we did get this, I did think there would be more which left me feeling a little disappointed. I also thought that there would be more build up and more background before the killings occurred. Giving us a little more understanding behind Bundy's and Elizabeth's relationship. It just felt a little rushed in that department. Something else that ties into this is that even though I enjoyed how quick paced it was, the story was a little jumpy and there were definitely a few gaps where we could have had an extra scene explaining the situation a little better.

My final negative point was that I thought it would be darker. Maybe see more of the darker moments of Bundy.

Overall, I did really enjoy this movie. I loved Zac Effron and Lily Collins acting and I really appreciated the nods to the original case. It just made the film really immersive and intriguing. We will never fully understand Ted Bundy but I definitely think this film was done well. If you want to understand Bundy a little more, I would recommend the Ted Bundy Tapes on Netflix if you haven't watched it already. Have you watched this film?
I really love reading monthly favourites posts so I thought it would be fun to start writing some up too! I loved a fair few things during the month of April so I have split them up into 5 categories (beauty, fashion, books, film/TV & miscellaneous). I really hope you enjoy reading through my monthly favourites!

During the end of April and continuing on in the month of May, I have been trying to clear my skin and revamp my makeup items, in the hopes of having clearer skins and being happy wearing less makeup. There are a few products I have been loving but something I have been loving the most is The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner (link). Since using it, I have definitely noticed my skin clearing up. The toner is designed to encourage spots to come quicker but also eradicate them quicker. I use this daily, morning and night and I really have seen a difference in the volume of spots I have on my skin. I would 100% recommend if you are trying to clear up your skin however, be careful if you have sensitive skin, as tea tree can be quite harsh.

I absolutely love styling my hair with scrunchies or head bands and so when I discover Magic Dreams Wishes (link) etsy store through instagram, I knew I had to make an order. If you don't know, Magic Dreams Wishes, creates the most adorable Disney scrunchies (as well as Minnie Ear headbands). I had been looking for some Disney scrunchies for quite some time, so I was incredibly pleased when I discovered Magic Dreams and Wishes. I ordered 8 different scrunchies because I couldn't decide on just 1 or 2. I especially love my Aladdin scrunchie and Winnie the Pooh scrunchie.

I was in need of some new trainers last month (my current ones were looking pretty grim) so I treated myself to some Nike Air Max 97s (link) and I am obsessed with them. I mean, they aren't the 'prettiest' of trainers but I love how they look and I know they will be perfect when Matt & I are at Disney due to how comfortable they are.

I didn't get a lot of reading done in April, check out my reading round up here, but I did read Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix and I'm now on such a Harry Potter fix. I absolutely love the films and I am 100% loving my journey whilst reading the books. If you are like me and love the films but haven't read the books then please read the books! I really wish I had read them years ago! Better late than never though!

If you don't follow me on instagram (link) then you wouldn't know that I have made the decision of finally watching the MCU movies. I know, it's been a long time coming and I am now kicking myself that I didn't watch them years ago when they all started to come out as I am loving them so much. So far, Thor is definitely my favourite and I also love Spidey! I still haven't watched Endgame so please, no spoilers if you've seen it!

Something else I have been loving, is obviously Game of Thrones. It's been a journey and so far, this final series is killing my emotions but I am enjoying them. I can't believe we now only have 2 episodes left! It's going far too quickly!

Finally, we are on to my last two favourites of last month. The first one being that I was cast as an Advance Dancer in Our House. I am so excited to start rehearsals for this show. Annoyingly, I'm unable to attend rehearsals until June due to completing my final hurdle of university but once that is complete, I will be starting rehearsals and I just can't wait!

Lastly, it was Fast Pass+ Day in April! If you don't know what is, it's the day you're able to book your fast passes for your Disney World trip. Matt and I managed to book all the fast passes that we wanted and now we are so incredibly excited to go on our trip next month!
There you have all my favourites from the month of April! I really enjoyed writing up this post so I really hope you enjoyed reading it too. What were your favourites during the month of April? I would love to know!
