Lush Impressions #2

Continuing on with my lush impressions posts, I bring you today another bath bomb review. Today I'll be giving my review on Blackberry Bath Bomb (link). My expectations for this bath bomb was high (as they always are) due to how yummy this bath bomb smelt before I plopped it in my bath.

Blackberry bath bomb left my bath water looking amazing, making my bath water turn this deep purple. The aroma coming off the water was so yummy that I couldn't wait to slip in under the water. There are two oils that are used within this bath bomb, bergamot and frankincense. Bergamot is used to release anxiety, depression and nervous tension. I'm not depressed but I definitely am feeling anxious towards finishing my college course and this bath bob definitely helped me relax whilst I was reading my book.  The frankincense oil also helps you to relax as well as both of them being antibacterial. The oils also left my skin feeling silky soft when I finally stepped out of the bath.

A nice touch to this bath bomb after the amazing smell and how relaxed it makes you feel but once the bath bomb has dissolved, a little note saying Boom Boom lifts to the top of the water. I don't know, I just thought it was a nice touch to the bath bomb.

Have you used Blackberry Bath Bomb? Or have you got any favourite lush products?

Lush Impressions #1

I'm a massive lover of Lush products (I mean who isn't?) but I don't get to visit a Lush store very often, so I don't get to treat myself very often. However, I did manage to go to a store the other day and I thought it would be a great idea to give you my first impressions on their products, as I'm still a newbie when it comes to Lush (I haven't tried many products but the products I have used, I adore), I hope you enjoy these posts as much as I love trying these products out.

Avobath Bath Bomb. First can we just appreciate the name of this bath bomb, genius. This bath bomb left me feeling fresh and uplifted, the scent of lemongrass definitely contributed in how I felt afterwards. This bath bomb has extracts of olive oil that is suppose to leave your skin feeling hydrated and it definitely left my body feeling hydrated. I've also noticed how soft my feet are, normally when I get out of a bath or shower my feet feel dry up and feel horrible but this bath bomb left them feeling incredible soft and hydrated.

This bath bomb would be perfect for a summers day pamper session just because of how fresh it leaves you feeling, it would also be a great asset to be used in a morning bath, to help you wake up because of the beautiful scent it gives off. Overall I loved this bath bomb and it turned my bath bright green which I also LOVED.

Have you tried Avobath? If so, what are your opinions? Also, please leave me some Lush products that you adore as I would love to try them out soon!

I recently read a post over on Eleanor Claudie's blog and it was on her summer bucket list and inspired me to create my own bucket list and I thought it would also be a nice idea to share it with you all like Eleanor did. This month I'm flying off to America (Orlando, Florida) and I have a few things I would like to do whilst I'm out there. I also have a few things I would like to do during the summer holidays as it's my last summer before I start university.

1. Take a few OOTD pictures whilst I'm out in Florida
2. Meet Mickey Mouse - How can I go Disney and NOT meet Mickey Mouse?
3. Read at least one book whilst on holiday
4. Go to Be Our Guest for a meal - I know I'll be able to tick this one off as we have a booking reservation on our first day their!
5. Vlog whilst I'm away and try and talk to the camera

6. Try and exercise 3 times a week (I was doing this but due to coursework and work, I haven't been able to maintain a good regime, so hopefully I can get back to it during the summer holidays)
7. Read at least 5 books or more
8. Explore London on my own (I want to enjoy London whilst I'm living close to it)
9. Upload 2 posts or more a week on my blog
10. Vlog summer outings and again talk to the camera
11. Become more adventurist when it comes to healthy eating and new foods
12. Go on more walks and bike rides
13. Visit the seaside more than once (I'd like to go Brighton at least once this summer)
14. Practise my photography skills
15. Wear more fashion items that I want to wear and not worry what others think
16. Pass my driving test
17. Find cute bookstores and coffee shops
18. Treat myself and buy more makeup and clothes I normally wouldn't buy
19. Visit Cambridge and Chester (potential universities I could be going to and I just want to explore the areas a bit more before I go)
20. Save up for a Michael Kors Bag (Here's hoping I can do this!)

So that's everything that I want to try and achieve over the summer holidays and before I go to university. I think most of my goals are pretty achievable but we'll soon see at the end of the summer holidays where I will reflect back on to this post.

What's on your summer bucket list?

Those Reading Updates #1

Instead of doing a generic monthly reading wrap up and to be read post, I thought I would tie the two posts together and make a series of it called 'Those Reading Updates', bringing everything bookish in to one post (wrap ups, tbrs, hauls, reviews, what ever I feel like updating you on, etc). I hope you like the idea of this post as I think it'll be nice to just have everything in one place, as well as making these posts short and snappy (I say this as I ramble on).

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
I read this book once before but never continued on with the series. As I have heard so much hype to this book series I thought I would go out and pick the book up again and I'm definitely glad I did. I enjoyed the journey through this book so much more and it was so interesting learning about the shadow hunter world, it seems like a pretty rad world to be a part of. I've already bought the second book (which I can read but failed to pick up the third book in the past) so I'm hoping this book is as good as the first. I hope to read that book soon. I gave City of Bones 5 STARS

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
I picked this book up purely for the fact that EVERYONE raves about it and the film comes out this month and if you haven't seen the trailer yet, you need to. If it doesn't make you want to read the book, you'll still want to see the film (I mean Sam Claflin and Emilia Clarke are both leads and they look fab). Honestly, this book killed me. It was so heart wrenching and heart warming that I just couldn't put it down. It has almost every emotion thrown in their at once, love, humour and sadness, everything you need in a good contemporary. I won't lie, I did have a few tears fall down my cheek at different points of this book but it was so worth it and you know it's a good book if it can get you crying. I gave Me Before You 5 STARS.

During the month of May I have hauled a few books, bought two as well as borrowing two from the library, one of which I'm currently reading (and loving). As I mentioned before, I bought the second book to the Mortal Instrument series, that book being City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare. Like I also said before I'm excited to get to this book. The second book I purchased recently was The Winners Curse by Maria Rutkoski. This is one of the books I plan to read on my 9hr flight which is coming up pretty soon and I have heard many great reviews about it so it encouraged me to pick it up.

The two books I borrowed from the library are Trial by Fire by Josephine Angelini (picked up purely because it's based on witches and I am a sucker for a book about witches) and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (Which I'm currently reading at the moment and loving).

I want to read Trial by Fire by Josephine Angelini as I have had it out almost 6 weeks from the library and I feel I should probably get to this book pretty soon. I also would like to start reading Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas so I can catch up in the series as the 5th book comes out this September and I would like to read it when it's been released.

I hope you enjoyed this post, I enjoyed writing and I definitely think it will be a post series I'll be uploading more often as I love to share my thoughts on book as it's one of my favourite hobbies.

What're you currently reading? Or what book would you like to get to soon?

I have been loving so much this month, especially in the beauty department. I have also been on a spending spree recently so I've been able to buy a few more new and much loved items this month as well, so that's probably why I have so many favourites this month too.

I have been loving my new brushes from the Real Techniques range, I recently bought a few including the Powder Brush, the Stippling Brush, the Retractable Kabuki Brush and the Miracle Complexion Sponge. All of these brushes and one sponge have made it in to my makeup routine and I don't know how I got on without them, I adore them. They are such great quality and they all apply make up really well. I have also been practicing my contouring skills and I purchased the Revolution Ultra Contouring palette. I love all of the shades in this palette, including the highlight shades, which I use under my eyes and on my cheek bones. I'm not a pro at contouring but so far I think I'm getting a long just fine and I'm glad I purchased this palette.

I posted the other day about buying my first every Mac lipstick and like I said in that post, I absolutely adore this lipstick. It's long lasting, shows a good colour and feels amazing on my lips. Definitely in love. I purchased the Mac Lipstick in Spirit, Satin Finish.

As my holiday is at the end of this month I have been shopping as much as I can, to build up those summery outfits. H&M has become one my go to shops at the moment as I seem to be loving pretty much every item in there. One item I recently bought from there, is this beautiful bohemian styled white crop top, which fits perfectly and looks great when wearing it. I can't wait to wear it in the American sun. I have also been loving my denim jacket from New Look. I have been wearing it non-stop over the last few weeks as it seems to go with so many of my outfits. I bought it a long time ago so I don't think my specific denim jacket would be available to buy but there is always at least one denim jacket for sale in New Look.

Out of the two books I read in the month of May, Me Before You by Jojo Moyes was definitely my favourite. It left such a mark on me that I wont forget it very soon. It was so riveting and heart warming I couldn't put the book down. I now can't wait to watch the movie. I rated Me Before You 5 STARS.

Is it bad if I mention alcohol? Oh sod it, I'm 20 this year, I'm allowed to talk about alcohol. Well, recently, I have been loving Malibu and Coke. I drank it on a recent night out and it's definitely become a favourite of mine again, I just love the coconut taste to it, reminds me of summer.

My boyfriend and I are flying off to America at the end of June, Florida to be exact and we will be staying at one of the Disney Resort Hotels (I am so excited it's silly). A plus to booking and staying with disney is that you can book meals and fast passes before you've even got there so one of my favourite apps on my phone is My Disney Experience. I have been non-stop booking meals and fast passes, I just think this app is genius as not only can you book stuff on it but you can also see what the wait times are currently at the parts which will be brilliant when we finally arrive there.

Let me know what you're favourites were this month, I would love to know and I hope you enjoyed this post.

Tabitha xo

I love wearing lipstick, it's probably the favourite part of my makeup routine. Deciding what lipstick I want to wear and then applying it. What's crazy is that up until now, I have never owned a Mac lipstick, I know, crazy right? I'm soon flying off to America (in about 3 weeks) and I wanted a lipstick that would be long lasting and a lipstick I could pretty much wear with every outfit. With a bit of advice from bloggers who own Mac lipstick I narrowed it down to the one I wanted.

I went for a nude shade as nude can go with EVERYTHING, which is perfect. The shade I went for was Spirit which has a satin finish and I absolutely love it, I don't know why it's taken me this long to purchase a Mac lipstick (although this could turn in to an unhealthy obsession which my bank account would not be happy about).

I have worn it already a few times and I can't stop picking it up, so I just know that this lipstick is going to be well loved and will be a great lipstick for when I'm over in America.

I'm very happy with my purchase but I would love to know some of your favourite shades? Let me know in the comments.
