Hey Book Lovers,

  Firstly, I apologise of the lack of posts over the past 2 weeks but I'll be honest I have been incredible busy with course assignments and work! Which is a pain because I've really struggled to get my reading done this month as well as blogging as you can already tell! But HEY, I'm here now and I haul post to share with you all (an unexpected haul I should say).
  Yesterday (27th Feb), I met up with one of my friends and we went for a spontaneous trip to the book store in town and surprise, surprise I ended up buying some books... Although, I could argue that at least one of them is educational. Here's what I ended up buying;

From Left to Right: Book 1Book 2Book 3Book 4

My friend and I went to two book stores yesterday and I picked up two books in each store! Firstly, I bought Half Bad (by Sally Green) and City of Bones (by Cassandra Clare) from Waterstones and I'm really looking forward to start both of them. I'll be honest, I have read City of Bones but I only made it to the 3rd book and then I gave up *shame on me*, but recently I've been watching Emma's (over on emmmabooks) youtube videos and she's convinced me to try and read them again. I have NO idea where my City of Bones book is, so I thought I'd treat myself by buying the new covered book (as I think they are beautiful) and it's made me incredibly excited to start the series again - hopefully I won't give up this time!
  After we visited Waterstones we went to a shop called The Works, it sells arts and craft stuff there but they also do AMAZING book deals, for instance, I bought BBC's Life Story photography book and it used to be £25 but it was reduced to £4! Let me repeat that... £4! So it was stupid not to pick the book up (especially when I study animals at college). I then picked up Our Zoo (by June Mottershead), which is the story behind the making of Chester Zoo and I thought I'd get this book because I may be moving to Chester later this year for University. Another book I'm excited to read.
I hope you enjoyed this little update, again I apologise for the lack of posts over the last 2 weeks but I plan to write a few posts over the week, so keep an eye out for new posts!

P.s. My friend Ellie has just created her first goodreads account, so please feel free to add/follow her, she would love the company!

Love you all,

Hey Book Lovers,
  Today I thought I would update you on what I'm currently reading! Firstly I thought I'd ask a question, would you like to see me upload a youtube video?? It's something I've wanted to do for a while as I love watching them and I just think they look so fun to film. I don't just want to upload book related videos, I also want to upload some vlogs, I plan to buy myself a go pro in the next month or too so that I can record some cool footage on some of my outings (for instance, I'm going to the Warner Brother Studios soon with my boyfriend and it would be awesome to record the experience!). So please let me know what you think? As it's something I would love to try and it would be lovely to know know what you guys think of it too!
  Now, on with what I'm currently reading...

This month I have gone a little crazy when it comes to the Lunar Chronicles! I decided I would try and marathon the series and so far I haven't failed, as you can see, I'm now on the final book of the series and I'm feeling many emotions as I read through the pages. Firstly, I'm so excited to be reading this book as I look forward to see how this series is going to end but secondly, I'm upset that my Lunar Chronicle experience is nearly coming to an end. So far I'm enjoying this book and it's so interesting to see how all the little stories intertwine with one another's. Winter is an interesting character and I haven't gone many opinions on her just yet as I've only read so little on her but I'm intrigued to see how she will help Cinder and her friends in this book.
  I'll be honest, the size of this book does intimidate me as I have never read a book this big before (I normally stay away from them...) so I do think this book could take me a while to get through, the aim is to finish it in about 2 weeks. I hope that's an understand length, I also have a hectic few weeks due to college and work but I'm going to try and work around that as best as I can.

Have you read the Lunar Chronicles? What was your favourite book of the series? Or what book are you currently up to in the series? I would love to know!
  Also please let me know what you think about me joining youtube and is it something you would like to watch? :)

Love you all,
  Tabitha x

Hey Book Lovers,
  How was January for you? A good reading month? Mine was definitely a good one, which was surprising, you can see what I read on my Wrap-up post a few day's ago (here's the link if you want to check it out). I thought I would try and write a few monthly TBR's on my blog as I find it interesting to see what other people want to read within certain months and so I thought it would be nice share with you guys too! It would also be great to see what you guys want to read in the month of February so definitely comment down below and let me know!

Here are the books that I want to read in the Month of February //

- Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
- Cress by Marissa Meyer
- Winter by Marissa Meyer
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling

As you can probably gather, my plan is to marathon the Lunar Chronicles Series as I'm loving it so much at the moment. It pains me to think I left it so long to get in to this series but I am so glad that I'm reading it now. I also plan to read the fourth book in the Harry Potter series (that's if I get that far anyway, but that is the plan). I'm really looking forward to reading these books during the month of February. I know it's a pretty ambitious goal to get these books finished but I feel like I could do it (well at least get the lunar chronicles finished but we'll see what happens!).
  Like I said above I would really like to know what books you want to read in the month of February! Also I plan to revisit my TBR posts at the end of each month within my monthly wrap up posts to see whether I succeed in reading the books in my TBR or whether I read other books.
  I hope you enjoyed this post!

Hey Book Lovers,
  I hope you all had a wonderful month, already the first month of 2016 is over, who can believe it. Not much has happened this month other than falling back into the same routine of college, work and reading - although I'm liking that I am falling into my normal routine again, it scares me to think that I only have less than 6 months left of college and then I'll soon be joing University where I will have to 'act' like an adult. Overall I think I have had a pretty successful month considering how busy I have been during this last month. I read a few books as well as a few novellas (due to falling in love with a particular author).
  I have linked the books goodreads pages and where you can buy them too!

// Cinder (Book 1) // Marissa Meyer // 5 Stars //

I absolutely LOVED and ADORED this book, it definitely has starting my reading year with a bang. It was superb, I just couldnt get enough of it. The story line was so unique and perfect which is the main reason why I loved this book and of course Cinder. Cinder was such a brilliant character, I loved every bit of her and she was such a relatable character because she wasnt perfect but that made her the perfect charcter. All of the characters made this story and it makes me so excited to read the next ones! I have written a full review aswell on my blog, the link being here, as I thought it deserved one.

I have never read a graphic novel or comic before but I was pleasently surprised when I picked The Walking Dead up. I've not really watched the TV series but my brother is mad about it and whenever he has it on, I'll sometimes sit down and watch (enjoying what I've watched) and for Christmas my brother got quite a few of the comics. So why not pick them up? I thought.
  At first it was quite hard to get a grip with the writing style as I'm not used to reading a comic book but as I got further in to the story, reading it became easier. What I loved about this book is that I could read it in one sitting, making it such a relaing read (if you could call the walking dead relaxing). The story was interesting and very different to what I have read before but I really did enjoy it, I loved the character building too. I'm definitely going to be reading some more of these comics!

// Crown of Midnight (Book 2) // Sarah J. Mass // 5 Stars //

Wow, wow, wow, WOW. This book was brilliant, I loved it. So much happened in this book that pulled on my heart strings and I just couldn't put it down. I think I do prefer this book to the first one but that's okay, it makes me incredible happy that authors can make their later books better than their first ones, to me it makes a series even better. There were scenes in this book that left me so shocked and heart broken, it was ridiculous but I loved them.. I can't wait to read 'Heir of Fire' and continue with Celaena's journey.

During the month of January I also read a few short stories, both written by Marissa Meyer as I LOVED Cinder so much, I needed to read more of her work there and then! The two stories I read were;
// Glitches (Book 0.5) // 4 Stars //
// The Little Android (Book 0.6) // 3 Stars //

I really enjoyed both and it was nice to read these two stories after Cinder. Glitches was my favourite one out of the two of them as it was interesting to witness Cinder's life when she first met her stepmother and stepsisters! But it was cool to see Cinder appear in the story The Little Android.
  You can find both of these stories on Marissa Meyer's Wattpad profile (link).

My Total Page Count so Far in 2016: 1,016 Pages

A bunch of great books to start the year with.
